Ensemble CONCEPT/21 initiated its activities as a Pierrot Ensemble with Percussion, performing some of the most iconic works for this instrumental formation, and designing its competition for young composers towards works for this type of ensemble.

Beyond its dedication to the Pierrot Ensemble, CONCEPT/21 has also paid attention to the diverse formations being explored by composers of the 21st century. The best musicians in our region have joined us to interpret works of different instrumental combinations. Among them we find the performers who are members of wonderful musical organizations like the Euclid Quartet, Kosmologia, the South Bend Chamber Singers and the South Bend Symphony.
